last night i had an away message that said this....

i'm going to delete my buddy list by the end of next week...if i kan get a total of 55 good reasons y i shouldn't then i might...but if i don't well then i guess no ones gonna b gettin an IM from me in ne time soon....

....and i guess someone aktually took notice..and she made an atempt at my strange request....

55 reasons why you shouldn't delete your bl
1. long-distance phonecalls...boo. vs. FREE AIM..woo!
2. buddy icons! (yeah me and my clark kent one)
3. chatrooms ~> can get very interesting
4. smileys and sad faces -> can't have those over the phone can you?
5. its all about the late-night convos
6. doing your profile
7. getting to see other peoples' profiles
8. funny away messages...(come on u know u read them)
9. get to practice your "typing skillz"
10.when ur surfing the net, which is easier -> holding a phone or not?
11.good way to tie up phonelines from those annoying business calls
****12.being bummed then being happy when one of your friends sign on
13.talk 2 more than 1 person at a time
14.don't have to dial #'s
15.don't have to actually say "bye"
16.if ur mad @ someone you can just sign off <- haha mean but hey im desperate to get 55 ok?
17.DL music & send them to other ppl
18.show pictures to other people
19.get to see pictures IMed by other people (u know how it is w/ those formal pics&all xp)
20.linkages to cool sites
21.u can hide how ur really feeling :ahem*:
22.when u have debates, u have more time to think before u send an IM (ha² its tru!)
23.cut & paste! don't have to type your story over and over again for other ppl
24.you don't wanna delete that whole collection of sn's..come on now
25.creating "new" words (i.e.: tatty)
26.Learning from your mistakes -> spelling errors and grammatical mistakes

27 1/2. Even though we don't talk as much nowadays, its still comforting to see your sn on my BL knowing that ur there for me just in case i need to vent, a shoulder to lean on, or someone to just listen-and i'm sure alot of other ppl. feel the same way as i do.
yeah² . i realize it isn't 55 of the best reasons, nor is it even 55 reasons.
but hey its hard to think! u'll just have to find 27 1/2 more people =)

'esterdayz away message said i'm going to delete my bl...but after reading 27 1/2 reasons y i should keep it i think i'm going to aktually keep it :-)....and to someone who's really kool and really thoughtfull ... thank u
